Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully as you will be bound by them. A contract between you and Grays will come into existence upon the date upon which you reserve a room with us. Your contract is with Grays Boutique B&B.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Our standard check-in times are between 15:00 - 19:00 hours. If you wish to arrive before 15.00, we will do our best to arrange for your room to be ready or alternatively hold your luggage for you. If you are likely to arrive after 19:00 hours, you will be able to use our key-safe facility. Please ask us for details. Our latest check-out time is 11.00am.

BOOKINGS

Rooms may be reserved online with a valid credit or debit card. Please note that we do not accept infants or children under 12 and our maximum occupancy per room is 2 persons. Regrettably no pets are allowed.

A minimum 2-night stay is required at weekends (a “weekend” includes a Friday or Saturday night).

Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email subject to your providing a valid email address.

STANDARD BED & BREAKFAST RAE - PAYMENT TERMS: We will charge the full price of your booking to the card you provided with your reservation 5 days before your arrival date, once you are inside our cancellation policy period. Should you make a booking less than 5 days before your arrival, we will charge your card at the point of booking. If your card is declined, please be aware that your booking may be cancelled.

ADVANCE PURCHASE RATE BOOKINGS & 3 FOR 2 SPECIAL: Payment is due in full at the point of booking and all payments are non-refundable. Once booked, booking dates are not modifiable.

GROUP BOOKINGS (3 OR MORE ROOMS): To secure a group booking we require valid credit/debit card details and a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total booking cost.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be made by email ([email protected]) at least 5 days prior to your planned arrival date to receive a refund of any payment previously made. If you cancel less than 5 days before your due date of arrival or fail to arrive at the hotel ('no show'), we will charge your credit/debit card with 100% of the value of your booking. We recommend guests ensure they have valid travel insurance in place in case of the need to cancel your booking.

For group bookings, if the whole or part of a group booking is cancelled less than 7 days ahead of the due arrival date, 100% of the cost (less the deposit) will be charged to your card.

Bad Weather Policy and Force Majeure

In the event of bad weather conditions, flooding, plague, desease or any act of God, Grays will fully apply our cancellation policy.

Prices

Room rates shown on our website are per room, per night and include breakfast, and taxes. Room rates are subject to change. Prices are quoted inclusive of any VAT payable.

Special Offers

Special offers are subject to availability and only valid at time of booking. Bookings must be made on the Grays website or by calling the hotel. Existing bookings and 3rd party bookings are not eligible for special offers or rates and offers cannot be combined. No exceptions will be made.

Registration

We are required by law to maintain a register of our guests. Residents of the United Kingdom and/or the European Union shall on check-in provide their full names and addresses. All other guests must on check-in provide details of a valid passport. You agree that we may retain this information for 12 months.

Parking

We provide complimentary on-site parking to guests, strictly subject to availability. We can only provide ONE space per room either using the car park or when full a permit for the street. Cars and their contents are parked entirely at the car owners' risk.

Damage

We reserve the right to make a charge of up to £250 for any damage caused to a room by a guest, including damage caused by a spillage or vomiting sickness.

Smoking

Grays is a strictly non-smoking establishment anywhere in the building and its environs. Should you smoke in your room, our fire system will probably trigger and we WILL charge a fee of £100.00 to your card for having to undertake a deep clean of your room.

Termination Policy

Grays reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate without notice an individual’s stay at Grays where deemed necessary.
